Summer 2013

I start designing already collection for next S/S. Actually I have already styles on paper, now most important is to find right yarn qualities for styles I want to include in S/S collection. That's way i met one yarn producer (actually a representative person for Bulgaria). It is one of biggest yarn producers in Europe- Italian brand Miroglio. They always have huge range of yarn qualities, always have 3-4 super fashionable yarns and a lot of colors. What is the best that they keep a lot of colors in stock, which is really important when it is coming to production. Because developing a color takes 4-5 weeks....most of time this is too late.
I saw their new collection and even thought I knew almost all the qualities (from last years) I was happy to see they add new colors. So if you are curious what are trends for Sumer 2012 (specially in knitwear) here you can have a look:

WHOLES AND TRANSPARENT MATERIALS

All kind of wholes and transparent fabrics will continue to be trendy also next Summer. Only this time colors are stronger and electric. Actually electric colors will be top fashion for upcoming season, so be ready.

BLUE COLOR AND SPORT LOOK

Blue color will be especially active next season. I hope you can see from picture how yarn has this kind of  "not equally dyed effect". Really strong trend. Please note how perfect blue is matching all electric colors.

METAL LOOK

If you already fill your wardrobe with all kind of metal and shine clothes/shoes/accessories, keep them safe, because next Summer all of metal looks will be extremely fashionable. 

KNITTING TECHNIQUES

Actually knitwear never has been that popular for warm seasons. But next season knitwear will rule the market with all kind of different knitting techniques.
